PROGRAM

Discover day by day program of Katonah Yoga retreat on Brac island.

Day 1 — ARRIVAL + INTRODUCTION CIRCLE

Dobro dosli! Welcome to Croatia!

Our first day begins with a group transfer from Supetar to our villa.

Once you’ve settled into your room, the day is yours to enjoy. Explore the villa’s lush bio garden, take a refreshing dip in the sea, or venture to the charming village of Mirca.

In the evening, join us for an introduction circle where we’ll collectively set our intentions for the week ahead, followed by a soothing yoga class.

As the day winds down, a delectable dinner awaits you.

Day 2 — YOGA + LEISURE + KATONAH YOGA WORKSHOP

Start a day with Manuela’s Vinyasa Yoga class, a dynamic practice that is influenced by Katonah Yoga elements and philosophy.

Following Yoga time, our in-house chef will serve the brunch made of fresh and seasonal delicacies.

The afternoon is reserved for leisure activities, like massage, relaxing by the pool, swimming, or simply reading a book and enjoying the villa; your choice.

Before dinner, Manuela will hold a workshop on Katonah Yoga Daoist philosophy, combined with a short practice. Learn about sacred geometry in our body structure and how to incorporate this knowledge in asana practice and in everyday life.

Dinner, and the last touch of the day, sunset meditation by the sea for better sleep and relaxation.

Day 3 — YOGA + HIKING VIDOVA GORA + GOLDEN CAPE

We will wake up early to catch the first sunrise rays and start a day with a guided meditation by the sea. You are free to join us a bit later for a Yoga class with Manuela.

Afterward, nourish your soul with a long and lazy brunch on the villa’s porch.

For the afternoon is planned hiking (appx. 2,5h) towards Mt Vidova Gora, the highest peak of all Croatian islands. From here you will enjoy a bird view of the Golden Cape, and the islands of Hvar and Vis.

We will proceed downhill visiting Golden Cape, the most beautiful beach in Croatia and a protected natural area of the Adriatic coastline. Take a swim to refresh after a long hike!

Conclude this day’s adventure with a glass of good island wine and dinner in Bol.

Day 4 — YOGA + LEISURE+ RESTORATIVE YOGA

After energizing with our morning Yoga and brunch rhythm, you’ll have free time to explore the local village or to relax with the massage.

If you prefer a more active holiday, the option can be a kayak or SUP tour.

Before dinner take some time to relax and let Manuela guide you through restorative practice which includes asana, breathing techniques, and meditation.

Dinner and free time.

Day 5 — YOGA + ISLAND HOPPING HVAR & PAKLENI ISLANDS

Repetition is the mother of knowledge! After our dynamic Yoga class and brunch, we will embark on a boat trip towards the majestic Hvar and the Pakleni islands.

Firstly we’ll visit Hvar, a location with charming Venetian architecture, numerous monasteries, the famous fortress ‘Spanjola’, and excellent bars and restaurants.
The second pitstop is the Hvar archipelago — Pakleni islands. Here we will have time to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and refreshing in beach bar.

The dinner will be served in the villa once we arrive back.

Day 6 — YOGA + OLIVE OIL TASTING + RESTORATIVE YOGA

We will persistently feed this adventure with our Yoga practice and yummy brunch.

The afternoon is reserved for visiting Skrip, the oldest village on the island of Brac with its beautiful Museum of Olive Oil. Learn the traditional way of making olive oil and enjoy in degustation of local products.

In the evening we are going to have a restorative Yoga class followed by a delightful homemade dinner.

Day 7 — RETURN HOME or...

Rejuvenated and recharged, you are ready to get back in the real world.

We will escort you to Supetar, from where you can decide; or to stay to live in Croatia or to go back to your home…

LOCATION

Brač is a Mediterranean island famous for its cultural heritage, deeply indented coves, smooth stone pebble beaches, crystal clear sea, and rustic Mediterranean villages. This unique Adriatic island is bestowed with Croatian symbols such as Vidova Gora — one of the most beautiful viewpoints and the highest peak on the Adriatic coast. Another treasure is the Golden Cape — a natural white pebbled beach formation that sticks out of the sea like a tongue.
Lonely Planet listed it in the first place of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia. These remarkable natural properties and the islands’ relaxed vibe make Brač a top-rated destination for windsurfers, sports lovers, and adventure seekers.
Our retreat base is located outside of the tourist rush in peaceful village Mirca — slow-paced and a perfect place for enjoying sublime scenery and scents of Mediterranean herbs and pine trees.
