Day 1 — ARRIVAL + OPENING CIRCLE
Welcome to Croatia!
We’ll pick you up in Zagreb at 4:00 PM and drive together to our home for the next few days — the peaceful Ekodrom Estate, surrounded by forest and fresh air.
Once you’ve settled in and refreshed, we’ll gather for an opening circle followed by a soothing evening yoga practice to help you arrive fully and gently transition into retreat mode.
The day ends with a nourishing, seasonal dinner prepared by our in-house chef using fresh, local ingredients.
Day 2 — SOMATIC YOGA + LEISURE + MEDITATION
We begin the day with a slow somatic yoga practice, designed to gently awaken the body, regulate the nervous system, and build embodied awareness. The practice is accessible and grounding, followed by a long, relaxed brunch.
Later, we’ll head out for a gentle one-hour hike through a nearby beech forest — an easy introduction to the landscape and the slower rhythm of the days ahead.
The rest of the afternoon is yours. Unwind in the hot tub, relax in the sauna, book an in-house massage, or take a quiet walk through the forest.
In the evening, we’ll gather for a guided meditation and breathwork session, supporting deep rest and integration before dinner and sleep.
Day 3 — SOMATIC YOGA + PLITVICE LAKES
The morning begins with a somatic-based yoga practice, followed by brunch — allowing the body to move with ease before our day in nature.
Afterwards, we’ll head out to explore Plitvice Lakes National Park, a breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage site. Discover a chain of 16 turquoise lakes and countless waterfalls, connected by wooden paths and surrounded by lush limestone canyons.
In the evening, we’ll return to Ekodrom for dinner and a short guided meditation to unwind and support deep rest.
Day 4 — SOMATIC YOGA + HIKING TO PETROVA GORA
We begin the day with a somatic yoga practice and meditation, encouraging ease, curiosity, and grounded energy for the day ahead. Brunch follows.
Later, we’ll set out on a guided hike through the beech forests of Petrova Gora, visiting the striking modernist monument from the 1980s and taking in expansive views of the surrounding landscape.
Back at Ekodrom, enjoy time to relax in the hot tub or sauna, or book a massage.
We’ll then come together for a restorative somatic yoga class to gently close the body-based part of the day. In the evening, we’ll gather around the fire circle, sharing dinner, stories, laughter, and gratitude.
Day 5 — YOGA + DEPARTURE
On our final morning, we’ll gather for a gentle somatic yoga practice, allowing space to integrate the experiences of the past days, followed by a leisurely brunch.
Afterwards, we’ll drive you back to Zagreb, from where you can head home — or continue your journey and stay in Croatia a little longer.
LODGING
Ekodrom Estate is the perfect place to get lost and find peace.
Set in an idyllic and supremely private location, you will enjoy the beauty of plums orchards and lush greenery. The property consists of 4 houses that used to belong to Grandmother Ljuba and today, it belongs to her grandson Marko. One house used to be a barn and the other two were cattle stables.
Marko and friends turned these traditional constructions into modern houses. Each house has an outdoor private hot tub. Sauna and in-house massage are at your disposal.
FOOD
Delight in two nourishing daily meals and snacks prepared by our in-house chef, guided by our motto: eat fresh, support local.
Brunches and dinners feature vegetarian and vegan options, with gluten-free choices available. Complimentary coffee, tea, fresh fruit, and snacks are available throughout the day.
LOCATION
You will find Ekodrom Estate, right between Zagreb and Adriatic coast. This is a perfect location to explore Croatia’s inland.
National Park Plitvice Lakes, surrounding hiking trails, river rafting, and mountain climbing makes this area favorite destination for an active vacation.
MEET OUR TEAM
…your teacher, your guide and in-house chef

My name is Justyna Traczyk. I use she/her pronouns.
I am a yoga facilitator, photographer, and outdoor‑minded human whose work weaves together holistic health, nervous‑system literacy, and a deep respect for lineage. My path has been shaped by nearly two decades of studying and teaching Ashtanga Yoga, and by a commitment to practicing in relationship—to the land I stand on, the body I inhabit, the people who shaped me, and the shifting seasons of my life.
I’m interested in yoga as something lived rather than performed. My practice has carried me through early mornings, shifting rhythms of daily life, grief, joy, travel, weeks spent in the mountains and living out of a tent, and the quiet in‑between moments .
My journey with Ashtanga Yoga began in 2005 and quickly became a daily ritual of movement and stillness. Since 2006, I have returned regularly to India to study with my teachers, including years of dedicated practice at KPJAYI in Mysore under the guidance of Sharath Jois Rangaswamy, from whom I received authorization to teach in 2014 and later assisted in the Shala. Since 2018, I have continued my studies with Sharmila Desai at Ashtanga Yoga Morjim, whose mentorship encouraged me to open my own traditional space, MERU Shala.
I’m fascinated by how repetition reshapes us over time—ethically as much as physically—and how devotion can stay steady even when life is not.
My teaching is grounded in trauma‑informed principles and somatic understanding. I support students in cultivating safety, agency, and resilience, drawing from my experience teaching in many different contexts: traditional shalas, prisons, oncology programs, youth groups, and international communities. My work with women includes pelvic floor education, menstrual cycle awareness, and guidance through pregnancy, postpartum, and the complexities of body image and self‑acceptance.
My long‑term studies in India and the teachers who guide me continue to shape my respect for tradition. At the same time, my commitment to decolonizing yoga informs how I share it—honouring the tradition without appropriating it, acknowledging the land that supports me and the nervous system within and beyond my body. I believe practice must be rooted in humility, reciprocity, and care for the world around us.
As a climber and nature‑driven person, I see the outdoors as a place of transformation. This understanding led me to create MovementForChange CAMP, a gathering that blends yoga, climbing, land‑based learning, and community dialogue. The event centers shared values—environmental responsibility, social justice, equality, and embodied activism—and has been supported by ethical outdoor brands like Patagonia, New Roots & Fundacja YES and recognized for its women‑empowering mission.
Alongside teaching, I work as a professional photographer, focusing on portraits, lifestyle, and landscapes. My images reflect my devotion to the natural world and my belief that beauty can inspire protection.
I live simply and intentionally—choosing plant‑based living, low‑impact habits, and collaborations aligned with my ethics. I love life on the road, windy mountain passes, early‑morning light, and the communities I meet through yoga and climbing.
I build my life around what feels meaningful, and in that alignment I find a sense of freedom—quiet, grounded, and spacious.

Sasha became a certified yoga teacher in 2018 by www.gaia-yoga.com school in Croatia. Her teaching style is Ashtanga Vinyasa, and she is skilled at demystifying complex concepts and making yoga feel accessible to beginners and teachers alike.
Dog lover, she enjoys spending time hiking, swimming and horseback riding.

My love and passion for food and cooking still grows each day and I am happy to be able to share it with the beautiful people that I cook for.
