OVERVIEW
This retreat is a full immersion into the calmness and wilderness of an eco-friendly villa located on an awesome place to unwind – the Pakleni Islands, across the Hvar strait.
Enjoy the luxury of waking up with the melodies of waves, jumping in the sea straight from your bed, and picking some homegrown veggies from the garden. True homely atmosphere, with a daily dose of introspection thanks to Yoga & meditation.

Embark on a daily Yoga practice with time to deepen your practice through asana, Pranayama, and meditation. Playful workshops with drills and techniques to suit you. You will have plenty of free time for leisure activities, like massage, relaxing with a book in your hammock, island hopping, or simply having a long swim in the friendly Adriatic Sea.
PROGRAM
Discover the day by day program of our Yoga retreat on Pakleni islands with Echo as a teacher and Sasha as a host
Day 1 — ARRIVAL + YIN YOGA
We will meet at 4 pm at Hvar main square and then head with the boat towards the villa at Pakleni islands.
After you settle down in the rooms and relax, we will have an introduction circle and a relaxing YinYoga class.
Our first day will conclude with a homemade dinner served on the villa’s porch in the green Mediterranean garden.
Day 2 — YOGA + LEISURE + ARM BALANCE WORKSHOP
Wake up early to catch the first sun rays and start the day with meditation followed by active Yoga practice with Echo. On this retreat, morning Yoga practice is a mixture of Rocket, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga Yoga.
After the first dynamic practice, it’s time to recharge with a long and lazy brunch.
The afternoon is reserved for leisure activities, like massage, relaxing with a book in the hammock or simply having a long swim in the Adriatic Sea.
In the afternoon, join Echo for a playful arm balance workshop.
The last touch of the day is dinner under a starry sky.
Day 3 — YOGA + MEDITATION WALK + TRANSITION WORKSHOP
We start the day with our morning rhythm that you already know — sunrise meditation, dynamic Yoga practice, and then another rich brunch.
The afternoon is reserved for a meditation walk through the island. Walking in silence is intended to enable you to connect deeply with the natural elements and with yourself. We believe this island has a special energy, can’t wait to hear your impressions!
Back home, Echo will guide us through another fun workshop which is based on the transition in Yoga poses.
We’ll be graced with an amazing dinner and sharing experiences around the bonfire.
Day 4 — YOGA + ISLAND HOPPING + DINNER IN HVAR
Our morning will start with meditation, Yoga practice, and brunch.
Today’s plan is island hopping around Pakleni islands and the island of Hvar. We’ll enjoy snorkeling in hidden bays, and refreshments at a beautiful beach bar.
Last stop is Hvar where we have free time for exploring charming Venetian architecture spots and art shops.
For dinner, we will be hosted by a friendly local family in their charming home!
Day 5 — YOGA + LEISURE + BACKBEND WORKSHOP
After awakening our bodies with a flow Yoga class and nurturing our senses with delicious brunch, we have free time to enjoy.
You can relax with the massage, explore the hidden bays or visit a magical treehouse nearby.
In the afternoon join Echo under the olive trees for a spicy backend workshop. Dinner and meditation for better relaxation and sleep.
Day 6 — RETURN HOME or...
Rejuvenated and recharged, you are ready to get back to reality. After morning Yoga and breakfast, we will escort you to the island of Hvar from where you can take the road back home or stay in Croatia forever…

VILLA
The Cricket house is located only 20 minutes boat ride from Hvar island. There are no cars on the Pakleni islands, and our villa has no neighbors. The house consists of a large living room, kitchen, spacious dining room, 4 bedrooms, and 5 bathrooms. Two bedrooms are situated on the ground floor with double beds and en-suite bathrooms. On the upper floor are a triple room and a twin room with en-suite bathrooms.
Surrounding the house is a spacious Mediterranean garden with authentic herbs, figs, and olive trees. The wild flora garden is equipped with hammocks and deck chairs, making it the ideal place to enjoy the nature and the silence. Private beach just 5 minutes walk away.
We also offer the option of staying in the tent and using the bathroom from the house. If you are interested, let us know, so we can provide a tent for you.
FOOD
Food is prepared with fresh and seasonal ingredients purchased from local farmers because we love to support the local economy.
You’ll be provided with two daily meals plus a snack, made by the in-house chef. Brunches and dinners are vegetarian and vegan. Gluten-free options are available. Coffee, tea, fruits, and snacks will be available throughout the day.
LOCATION
Pakleni Island is a gorgeous chain of wooded isles that stretches out immediately in front of the town of Hvar.
Although the name literally means ‘Hell’s Islands’, it’s thought to derive from ‘paklina’, a pine resin that was once harvested here to waterproof boats. The more descriptive name will be ‘Green and Blue Paradise’ of a Dalmatian coast, because of plenty of deep blue caves and tiny white sandy beaches.

The love affair with yoga became a committed relationship (with a few hiccups) and journey of self exploration through Yoga began.
She began practicing as a way to help heal from depression and disordered eating and found the multi layers of Yoga resonated with her. Yoga is a powerful tool to help grow as humans.
Echo’s classes and practice are based on somatic movements, reconnecting with ourselves and learning how to feel comfortable with ourselves again.
She has trained in various styles of Yoga and has sat in rooms and completed hours with lots of extraordinary teachers but finds her true teaching comes from the hours of self practice and self study… our truest teachers are within us.
It’s often said that Echo makes classes playful, she embeds snippets of (Yoga) Philosophy into her classes with a modern twist.
Expect honesty, humanity and community from Echo’s classes.

Sasha became a certified yoga teacher in 2018 by www.gaia-yoga.com school in Croatia.
Her teaching style is Ashtanga Vinyasa, and she is skilled at demystifying complex concepts and making yoga feel accessible to beginners and teachers alike.
Dog lover, she enjoys spending time hiking, swimming and horseback riding.

Karolina was the owner of Zagreb famous restaurant, Veganspek, first vegan and meat restaurant in Croatia.
