–THE RETREAT MEETS THE HEALTH AND HYGIENE PROTOCOLS THAT THE CROATIAN GOVERNMENT IMPLEMENTED AS GENERAL COVID-19 PROTOCOL.
Day 1 — ARRIVAL + YOGA NIDRA
We will meet at 4 pm at Hvar main square and then head with the boat towards our villa at Pakleni islands.
After you settle down in the rooms and relax, we will have an introduction circle.
Our first day will conclude with a homemade dinner served at the villa’s porch immersed in green, and relaxing Yoga Nidra class.
Day 2 — YOGA + LEISURE + PRANAYAMA WORKSHOP
We will wake up early to catch the first sun’s rays and start a day with guided meditation. You are free to join us later for refreshments, before the practice based on Ashtanga Yoga method starts.
After awakening body practice, it is a time for recharging with long and lazy brunch.
The afternoon is reserved for leisure activities, like massage, relaxing with a book in your hammock, or simply having a long swim in the friendly Adriatic Sea; your choice.
At sunset time, Justyna will hold a workshop on the power of breath. She will give us tools and teach us how to apply breath philosophy to support our asana practice. Dinner, meditation and free time for relaxing.
Day 3 — YOGA + ISLAND HOPPING + DINNER IN HVAR
Our morning will start in the same way as in Day 2 — meditation, Yoga and brunch.
Today’s plan is island hopping around Pakleni islands and the island of Hvar. We will enjoy snorkeling in hidden bays, mud baths known for healing effects, and refreshment at a beautiful beach bar. Last stop is Hvar where we have free time for exploring charming Venetian architecture spots and art shops.
For dinner, we will be hosted by the friendly local family in their charming home!
Day 4 — YOGA + MEDITATION WALK + BONFIRE
We start the day with our morning routine that you already know — sunrise meditation, snacks and refreshments, Yoga practice, and then another rich and a bit lazy brunch.
The afternoon is reserved for a meditation walk through the island. Walking in silence is intended to enable you to connect deeply with the natural elements and with yourself. We believe this island has a special energy, can’t wait to hear your impressions!
Back home we will be graced again with an amazing dinner.
And the last touch of the day, meditation and sharing experience around the bonfire.
Day 5 — NEW MOON YOGA PRACTICE + LEISURE + LIFE CYCLES WORKSHOP
After awakening our bodies with healthy morning routines and cuddling our souls with delicious brunch, we have free time.
You can relax with the massage, explore the hidden bays or visit a magical treehouse nearby.
In the afternoon we will join Justyna under the olive trees to reflect on cycles in life. Dinner and meditation for better relaxation and sleep.
Day 6 — YOGA + BARBECUE + CLOSING CIRCLE
We will persistently feed our last day on this adventure with Yoga practice and fresh local delicacies.
Afterward, take some time to reflect on the sensations which could happen during the week we spent in the wild Mediterranean nature.
Around the sunset, we will gather for a barbecue, celebrating the end with dinner around the bonfire and closing circle ritual.
Day 7 — RETURN HOME or...
Rejuvenated and recharged, you are ready to get back in the real world.
We will escort you to the island of Hvar, from where you can decide; or to stay to live in Croatia or to go back to your home…
LODGING
The Cricket house is located on Pakleni islands, 20 minutes boat ride from Hvar island. There are no cars on the Pakleni islands, and our villa has no neighbors.
Surrounding the house is a vast Mediterranean garden with authentic herbs, figs, and olive trees. The wild flora garden is equipped with hammocks and deck chairs, making it the ideal place to retreat from urban daily life. From there, you can reach the private beach in just a 5 minutes walk.
The house consists of a large living room, kitchen, spacious dining room, 4 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms. Two bedrooms are situated on the ground floor with double beds and en-suite bathrooms. On the upper floor are a triple room and a twin room with en-suite bathrooms. Here is a chilling area where you can peacefully enjoy the panoramic view of the sea.
As the garden is very spacious, we offer the option of staying in the tent and using the bathroom from the house. If you are interested, let us know, so we can provide a tent for you.
FOOD
Food is prepared with fresh and seasonal ingredients purchased from local farmers because we love to support the local economy.
You’ll be delighted with two daily meals in our retreat, made by the in-house chef. Brunches and dinners are mainly vegetarian and vegan. The gluten-free options are available.
Coffee, tea, fruits and snacks will be available through the day.
LOCATION
Pakleni Island is a gorgeous chain of wooded isles that stretches out immediately in front of the town of Hvar.
Although the name literally means ‘Hell’s Islands’, it’s thought to derive from ‘paklina’, a pine resin that was once harvested here to waterproof boats. The more descriptive name will be ‘Green and Blue Paradise’ of a Dalmatian coast, because of plenty of deep blue caves and tiny white sandy beaches.

Growing up in a family that loved to travel and explore new tastes, I was exposed to many different cousins during my childhood and that definitely sparked an interest in me which later developed into my passion and profession. My enchantment with exploring different cultures and cuisines continued growing during my studies in Switzerland. After graduating in International Business in Hotel and Tourism Management in Cesar Ritz University, I spent a few years working in a 5*star hotels around Europe and Asia where I continued to work, travel and educate myself on different foods and cuisines. My biggest passion was the connection between culture and food and how we can learn so much about the culture and history just from a plate of modest traditional food cooked at home. Upon returning to my home county I started the radio show "With Spoon around the world" and I spent the next 10 years running a kitchen in different vegan restaurants and hotels in Croatia.
My love and passion for food and cooking still grows each day and I am happy to be able to share it with the beautiful people that I cook for.
